The Spiritual Life and Religious Practices Committee serves as a spiritual guide within the synagogue. In partnership with the Rabbi, this committee helps define and implement the way we observe Shabbat, holidays, Yahrzeits, Brit Milah,Auf Ruf, B’nai Mitzvah and other services and worship experiences. It also guides the way we practice rituals and customs in the synagogue. The team works with the other committees to best meet the spiritual needs of our diverse community. Spiritual Life and Religious Practices promotes religious engagement not only to inspire meaningful observance but also to help enhance and integrate the values of Jewish living into one’s home and out into the world.
