He writes, “My project, to be completed on October 15th and 16th, 2016, includes cleaning the grounds, planting bushes, mulching around the existing shrubs, and adding a stone semicircle in front of the monument. Inset in the semicircle will be an engraved Star of David. I also plan to replace the existing flag and the rope on the flagpole. When the project is complete, I will place a geocache at the site to attract visitors and raise awareness of the monument.
For my project, I need to raise about $900. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, either in cash or checks. Checks can be made out to Troop 5 Eagle Fund. Any donations can be given to me in person, or mailed to me at 161 Audubon Road, Milton, MA 02186. Thank you for your support.
I can be reached for more information regarding the project at 617-696-4256 or at farwellca@thayer.org.
